(Information from Tri-bowl Multiplex Cultural Center) Tri-bowl is a multipurpose, integrated cultural arts space including an arena shaped performance space, education about culture and art as well as exhibits, run by the Incheon Foundation for Arts and Culture and commissioned by the City of Incheon.
(Information from ArchDaily) The Incheon Tri-bowl started with the idea of being against general thoughts about architecture. It is composed of a curved floor with a flat roof, instead of a flat floor with a curved roof of general architecture. The memorial hall is used for exhibitions and is designed to have a wide ceiling for those exhibitions. LED lamps, composing the ceiling, make different information available on those at any time. The structure is floating on a rectangular reflection pond and patrons will be entering it through a long bridge passing underneath.
